Planet Adventure now offers Inline Speed Skating events in Indianapolis. With the help of experienced area speed skaters (Indy Speed, Asphalt Beach and Global Inline) and the National Roller Cup (NROC), Planet Adventure will host five events in 2010. The closed courses will have something for everyone from the recreational and fitness beginner to the advanced professional! Skaters can choose from a mixture of multiple events including kid’s dashes, time trials, 5K and 10K criterium style racing plus half and full marathon distances! NROC members compete for “A” points towards their annual totals.

• $40 Marathon ($10 late fee for race-day registration)
• $40 Half Marathon ($10 late fee for race-day registration)
• Note: Same day registration closes 30 minutes prior to the events.

Course: (MAP, directional arrows may change): Course is a flat, newly paved, rectangular, four corner traditional criterium. Lap Length: 0.9 miles

Race Times:

• Marathon: 8:00am
• Half-Marathon: 8:00am (concurrent with Marathon race)

Lodging Option: The historic Fort Harrison State Park Inn (877)563-4371 is within walking/skating distance to the clinic and is located on the Sunday event race course. Those wishing to stay at the Fort Harrison Inn should mention the code PI10 to get the special event rate of $72. Only 15 rooms could be reserved for the event at this location. All rooms that are not reserved before 6-24-2010 will be release for general reservations. Arrangements have been made as well for overflow at The Comfort Inn and Suites located approximately 2 miles from the event area at 5755 N.
