Racer Comments

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! and all your helpers. I truly had a great time and what a awesome workout. For never being on a mountain bike(ever) and for only being in a kayak 3 times at most.......WE did great! I even did the zip line and I thought I would NEVER do one. I applaud you in giving the "beginners" direction and "help" is how to get people started in this adventure. Keep it up, you did awesome!! I heard several great comments and you should feel very proud! Way to GO! My grandfather was an outdoors man and loved riding his bike everywhere. He even rode his bike from Maryland to Iowa for his 50 High School Reunion and he was in his 80's!!. He died from a brain tumor and I race in his honor no matter if its a marathon, a ride or now even a adventure race. Thank you for allowing me to participate in something he would have enjoyed as well. -P

We all had such a perfect time on Saturday! Thanks for all your hard work on our behalf. You did a spectacular job. Hope you got some rest on Sunday and are feeling great! -S

I just wanted to again extend my appreciation for a great race and a very fun day. You did an absolutely wonderful job and I can't imagine how you did all of that so well and work, and be a mom, and be a wife. You're amazing. Thank you too for the helmet and being so determined to get the me prize I was coveting. shame on me. Thank you again for one of my fondest AR experiences (my only first). -D

We had an awesome time at the NSAAR. It was a great first AR for us. Thanks for all your hard work on this race. I can only imagine how much time it took to set everything up. I have no complaints only accolades (well once I found the camp and all). Everything was amazing and the volunteers were so nice. Thanks again for everything. -M

Thank you so much for providing us gals an opportunity to race together w/o too much testosterone flying around. I'm sure it meant something different for each one of us -- first time racer not feeling intimidated to race; racers maybe not in the best of shape feeling like they could truly compete; -- but for me there was the exhilaration of navigating my first race -- something I never would feel confident doing with the guys I've raced with before because they have all been such good navigators...overall I had a blast. -D

Thank you so much for an awesome first adventure race. The course, support, and site were first rate. I just wanted to thank you as I imagine many many hours were invested. THANK YOU. THANK YOU! I'm trying to figure out the next one to get to! -S

Thanks again for a great 1st race! We hope to do it next year and maybe we can convince some other "newbees" to try it. Also, I wanted to thank you again for arranging the additional climb time training.. It was a great help to familiarize us with the climbing section and to get comfortable with it. -S
