Pike Township Race for Education 5K Run/1 Mile Walk

About This Race

Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to join the fun on Saturday, October 19th for the 4th Annual Race for Education 5K/1 Mile Walk to raise money for grants, schlorships and wellness programs for MSD of Pike Township Schools and to celebrate the Pike community. The event also features a family health & wellness fair and fun for the whole family.

Schedule

8:00 am-8:45 am: Registration & Packet Pick Up
8:00 am-10:00 am: Fitness Fair
9:00 am: Kids 1 Mile Start (non-timed, results will not be posted)
9:15 am: 5K Start (chipped time)
9:45 am: Awards Ceremony
*Kids’ Mile Awards can be picked up immediately following the finish of the 1 mile race.

5K: $20 Pre-Registration; $25 Race Day; ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS AT 11:59PM ON OCTOBER 16TH
Walk: $8 Pre-Registration; $10 Race Day; ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS AT 11:59PM ON OCTOBER 16TH
Event Shirts: $10

Awards

Cash Prize awarded to the top male & female finisher overall, top 3 male & female finishers in each age division of the 5K; age 19-24, in 5 year increments, up to 70 and over.
Kid’s Mile Trophies will be presented to the top 3 boys & girls in age divisions; age 6 & under, in 2 year increments.

There will be a $500 prize and traveling trophy for the school with the most participants.
