The 1st Annual Planet Adventure Winter Quarter/Half/Full Trail Marathon will be Saturday, January 28, 2012.

• Start Times: (note: may be adjusted based on entry volume)
• Quarter Marathon (6.55mi) Start Time: 6:00 PM

• Half Marathon: 6:10 PM (Eastern Time)
• Full Marathon: 6:20 PM (Eastern Time)
• Race cutoff time will be 2:00 AM
• Race Start/Chip Timing:
• This will be a chip timed start, you will want to "self seed", faster runners up front. Note: There is a good distance to the hole shot at the start, in addition, only the first 800 meters of the course are tight single-track trails. After that it's mostly wider doubletrack type dirt and gravel trails.
• All distances chip timed by MyLaps Bibtags system.
• Light required: Headlamp or flashlight is required during this race.

• Race Day: Race Day from 4:30PM-6:15PM at the start/finish

Course:

The 6.55 mile loop is nearly all single track trail, 1 lap for the Quarter, 2 for Half and 4 for the Full Marathon. This course design allows us to see the runners more frequently and contain the safety and security of the runners more effectively.
