Carmel Total Fitness

Start location announced! We're very excited to be starting and finishing the 2011 race at Carmel Total Fitness.

2011 Information

The Amazing Adventures are our beginner and family friendly adventure races.

Teams consisting of two or three (ages 8 and up) will work together to travel through the course on foot, by bike or paddle power, conquering several fun mental and physical challenges along the way. Adding to the excitement, your team will navigate the course using street and orienteering maps.

Using the supplied maps and course instructions, you will move through the course encountering various Checkpoints (CP's) where you'll punch your "passport", find a clue or possibly complete a special challenge. Check out the Gear List for all the stuff you'll need to bring.

  • Things to know...

    • You'll need to bring the stuff posted on the Gear List.
    • You will want to arrive at least an hour early to get setup and look over your maps.
    • Bring some energy food for before and during the race.
    • Navigating in this race is pretty easy, you may not actually ever use your compass but you will certainly get the feel for how it works.
